When it comes to skincare or makeup brushes, is it worth the splurge on the most expensive makeup brushes, or do we go for the cheap makeup brushes found in drugstores instead? When it comes to our skin, we should choose the best brushes that help the natural application and blend the products easier and avoid any waste. For instance, if you do not use the right eyeshadow brush, your eyeshadow would look wrong. Foundation brushes come in different shapes, but usually a flat top, Kabuki-style is ideal for full, even coverage. Makeup brushes that are already used to apply foundation and other liquid makeup like concealers, are perfect to apply moisturizers and serums. The brushes you use, should be soft against your skin and the makeup brush should feel firm, not scratchy and the bristles shouldn't fall out. Cleaning your skincare and makeup brushes once a week is a very important step to avoid attracting any bacteria.
